What does mindfulness mean?

Here’s another question: Have you heard of the term “Eco-mindfulness”?


Ecological mindfulness is basically being aware of yourself and your connection to the environment. 


And as you become aware of that connection, you become conscious of your behaviors and how they impact your surroundings. When you come to understand this, mindfulness goes beyond yourself. It transcends the self as it cultivates your personal relationship with the environment. 


And what do we do with relationships we value? We care for them. 


You know the drill when it comes to caring for the environment, right? 

  • Reduce wastes
  • Recycle
  • Find alternatives to plastic products
  • Use reusable bags when doing groceries
  • Conserve energy and water
  • Plant trees


The list goes on.


Ultimately, the goal of eco-mindfulness is to develop sustainable behaviors that will result in a sustainable planet.
